George MacDonald was a Scottish author and minister best known for his fairy tales and fantasy novels. A theologian, MacDonald was pastor of Trinity Congregational Church in Arundel before moving to London to teach at the University of London. MacDonald s work influenced many fantasy writers including J. R. R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis, and Madeleine L Engle; he is recognized as a mentor to Lewis Carroll and heavily influenced Carroll s decision to submit Alice s Adventures in Wonderland for publication. MacDonald was a prolific writer, and penned such fantasy classics as Phantastes, The Princess and the Goblin, and Lillith. George MacDonald died in 1905.

It includes the Introduction and Parts I and II (chapters one through six).
The other hundred pages are a "Toolkit." This includes some material that didn't seem to fit anywhere else, a glossary, a recap of Drive, twenty conversation starters (useful at cocktail parties), a reading list, and a fitness plan. It's always a good time when I can smile and enjoy what I'm doing as was the case when I was coloring in this book.. This is my daughters favorite book, and she has many. There is very little of WWII in this book. The broad concepts of each chapter were interesting as was Pollack's overall model. It can be challenging for beginners, but is VERY easy for an intermediate pianist.. Enjoyed the photos showing the settings used to get them.. It's full of action and and repeated sounds, which is fun and a good learning tool for young readers (I'd say about age 5-6). There are two publications that provide a fairly good description of that event, the authors did not explore. If
